Riho Sakamoto joins Berlin State Ballet for 2024/2025 season

Riho Sakamoto joined Staatsballett Berlin (the Berlin State Ballet) for the 2024/2025 season as Soloist, the company announced on Instagram. Detailed castings are yet to be annouced.

Riho, who is from Nara, Japan, has been Principal of Het Nationale Ballet (the Dutch National Ballet) in Amsterdam since 2021.

The movie clip is taken from Riho's Instagram account. She is in a stage rehearsal of Anima Animas with the Dutch National Ballet in the 2023/2024 season. She wore a Misha leotard.
