Colorado Ballet Principal Asuka Sasaki to retire in April

Colorado Ballet’s Principal Dancer Asuka Sasaki will retire from stage after 20 years with the company.

Asuka will take a final bow in April 2025, the Denver-based company said in a press release on 31 January.

Originally from Nagano, Japan, Asuka joined the Colorado Ballet from Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet in 2005 as a corps member. She was promoted to Principal in 2017.
