Coastal City Ballet is looking for dancers with strong classical ballet techniques for the 2025-2026 season.
Dancers who wish to audition for the Vancouver-based company are invited to apply to either an in-person company class or submit a video audition.
Applications or any queries are to be sent to our email via audition@coastalcityballet.com with your headshot, resume, audition video and any recommendation letters or dance photos.
For the in-person company class auditions, artistic staff members will consider each application and respond accordingly.
Applicants, especially those who are based outside the greater Vancouver area, can choose to apply for a video audition. The company has strict guidelines for video applications. Please read the guidelines carefully here before submitting.

The apprentice contracts are limited to one year and are designated to dancers (f/m/d) who have just finished their education and do not yet have a full contract with any company.

A video with no introduction or fancy editing, consisting of the following performed in tight-fitting dance attire:
Contemporary footage or performance excerpts that may consist of something drawn from repertoire, or an applicant’s own created work.

Boulder Ballet, the United States
Boulder Ballet will hold auditions in California, New York and Colorado to look for dancers for the 2025-season.
Register from here and email required materials to auditions@boulderballet.org before each audition.
Make sure to list "YOUR NAME - AUDITION" in the subject line of the email.
Audition materials should include the applicant’s resumé, headshot, dance photo, and video link(s) of recent performance footage. Up to three professional references are encouraged, but not required.
Resumés should include the applicant's date of birth and height, as well as previous and current companies and performed repertoire.
Video materials should feature classical ballet technique, contemporary movement, and partnering excerpts. Women should include both work on pointe and in flat shoes in their video materials.
Eligibility:
At least 18 years of age and currently eligible for employment in the United States (US citizen or valid work visa)
Strong classical ballet technique expected, and proficient in contemporary movement
Professional experience preferred.
